Tomato Soup | Rich & Creamy

Serves 5

Ingredients

  • 6 medium tomatoes

  • 5-6 small garlic cloves

  • 1 small onion

  • 1/4 cabbage

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 glass water

  • 1/2 tbsp sugar

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp jeera powder

  • 1 tsp black pepper powder

  • 3 tsp salt

  • cream for garnishing

Instructions

  • In a pressure cooker, add tomatoes, onion, garlic cloves, cabbage and water. Then pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.

  • Once done, put the mixture in a blender jar and blend it well to a smooth puree.

  • Now witch a sieve, sieve out this puree into a pan and cook on medium flame for 10 minutes.

  • Now add sugar, salt, black pepper powder, garam masala and jeera powder and stir. Then simmer for a minute.

  • Pour the steaming hot tomato soup in a soup bowl.

  • Add some cream or butter on top and serve hot.
