Carrot Tomato Soup | Winter Soups | Healthy Soup

Winter is incomplete without homemade soups, so enjoy the delicious and healthy Carrot Tomato Soup.


Serves 5

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tbsp butter

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 3-4 garlic cloves

  • 1 cup carrots, chopped

  • 4 tomatoes, chopped

  • 1/4 cup cabbage, shredded

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 3 cups water

Instructions

  1. In a pressure cooker, add butter, garlic cloves and onions.

  2. Saute for a minute.

  3. Add carrots, tomatoes, cabbage, sugar and all the spices to it.

  4. Add water and pressure cook for 3 whistles.

  5. After it has cooled down, churn it into a fine paste.

  6. Sieve the soup into a pan and cook for another 5 minutes.

  7. Garnish with some fresh cream and serve hot with bread crumbs.
