Lemon Coriander Soup | Warm Winter Soup Recipes

Winter calls for a warm bowl of freshly made soup and what can be better than the refreshing coriander and lemon. Do make the Lemon Coriander Soup.

Serves 6
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp garlic cloves, chopped 
- 2 tbsp green chillies, chopped 
- 1 cup coriander leaves, chopped 
- 2 tsp oil 
- 2 onions, finely chopped 
- 1 carrot, finely chopped 
- 3 cups hot water 
- 2 tbsp lemon juice 
- 2 tsp salt or to taste 
- 1 tsp black pepper powder 
- 1 tsp garlic seasoning 
- 1 tbsp spreadable agar agar + 1/4 cup hot water 
- 1 tbsp sugar 
Instructions
- In a pan, add oil and sauce the garlic and green chillies. 
- Then add onions and carrot and sauce till lightly roasted. 
- Add hot water and mix well. Let it come to a boil. 
- Add salt, sugar, black pepper powder and garlic seasoning to it and let it simmer cook on a low flame for 5-7 minutes. 
- In a separate bowl take some hot water and mix in the spreadable agar agar powder till no lumps are left. 
- Add this mix to the soup. 
- Finally, add in the lemon juice and coriander leaves. 
- The Vitamin C-rich Lemon Coriander Soup is ready! Enjoy warm with crispy bread crumbs.
