Leftover Khichdi Mini Uttapam | Leftover Khichdi Cheela

Serves 5

Ingredients

  • 1 bowl khichdi

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp cumin powder or jeera powder

  • 3 tbsp besan or gram flour

  • 1 tsp chaat masala

  • 3 tbsp suji or rava

  • 1 tsp garam masala

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 onion, chopped, for garnish

  • Few coriander leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add all the ingredients except oil and blend it to a smooth paste.

  2. Heat a pan, pour 1 tbsp batter and allow it to cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes.

  3. Sprinkle some onion and coriander leaves on top.

  4. Add some oil on all sides and then flip the sides to cook evenly on both.

  5. Similarly you can repeat the process for other mini uttapams too.

  6. Take them out on a platter and serve hot with some ketchup and chutney.
