Crispy Paneer Moonglet | Healthy Breakfast Recipes | High Protein Recipes

Start your day with a super healthy & nutritious breakfast with our Crispy Paneer Moonglet.

It's fluffy on the inside and super crispy on the outside.





Makes 2 moonglets

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup moong dal

  • 1 tbsp urad dal

  • 1 tsp salt or to taste

  • 1/2 teaspoon haldi powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 onion, chopped

  • 1/2 capsicum, chopped

  • 2 tbsp corn, boiled

  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 green chilly, chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

  • Paneer, for garnishing

  • Oil, for cooking


Instructions

  • Wash the moong dal and urad dal thoroughly.

  • Soak them in water for 4 hours.

  • Strain off the excess water and grind them into a smooth paste with minimum quantity of water.

  • Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies, capsicum, onion and corn. Whisk it well.

  • Heat a pan and just when its ready, add 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda to the batter.

  • Now add 1/2 the batter in the pan and rotate it to spread evenly.

  • Add some oil on the sides.

  • Cook on one side for 3-4 minutes on medium flame and then flip it over.

  • Add some more oil and cook it on low-medium flame until it looks crispy.

  • Once the moonglet is ready, transfer it to a serving dish and garnish it with lots of shredded paneer & some red chilli flakes.

  • Super healthy & nutritious Crispy Paneer Moonglet is ready!
